IHCC began in February 2001 with a prayer meeting in a living room. Five couples felt called by God to start a new church in the Onsted area to "evangelize and win people to the Lord." Since 2001, our church has held worship services in a living room (1 month), the Coon Hunters Lodge (18 months), & the Onsted Schools (6 years). In August 2008, the Lord gave us our current building where we've been meeting ever since. Over those years, our church has been served by four pastors and other men who have preached God's Word. Pastor Curt is our fifth pastor and he came in 2018. We are thankful for God's faithfulness in sustaining us all these years and look forward to what God is going to do in and through our church in the months and years ahead.

Our church is located in Onsted village in the Irish Hills area -- one of the most beautiful places in the state of Michigan. The Irish Hills area has over 50 lakes for enjoying many year-round recreational activities. Our village has about 1,000 people and our school district has about 10,000. We are about 10 minutes from the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. Adrian, Jackson, Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Toledo are all within an hours drive and Detroit is about an hour and a half away.
